SIX SIGMA Glossary: Regression Equation

The regression equation is the equation that shows the relation between the inputs ('X') and the output ('Y') that is created by regression analysis or the Design of Experiments.

For Simple Linear Regression the equation would be of the form:

Y = A + Bx
