SIX SIGMA Glossary: Accuracy

Accuracy is a term used in measurement. It is the difference between the average, or mean, of a number of readings and the true, or target, value. For a more detailed explanation see Bias

Refer to Process Variation for an explanation of the difference between accuracy and precision.
