MEASUREMENT
SYSTEMS ANALYSIS COURSE |
| |
After completing
the Measurement Systems Analysis course
you will be able to carry out gage
R&R studies
(measurement capability studies) for
both variables and attribute measurements.
You will be able to apply the methods
described in the AIAG MSA Reference
Manual and use the Minitab
software. |
| |
TOPICS:
Graphical Analysis - range charts,
mean charts, run charts, interaction
charts. Gage R&R Studies - repeatability,
reproducibility, Number of Distinct
Categories, AIAG MSA Reference manual,
using Minitab, ANOVA, bias, linearity
and stability. Attribute Agreement
Analysis - Cohen's kappa, Kendall's
coefficient, using Minitab. Analytical
method for attribute studies.

STUDENTS SAY |
Charles
Kluge, Engineer, Master
Black Belt Candidate, US
"Great overview of MSA methodology
and calculations. Very good price compared
to other available courses. Thanks for
a great course!" |
David Phillips,
Engineer, ASQ CQE and CSSBB,
US "After completing the
Measurement Systems Analysis course
I have a better understanding of linearity
and bias (and how to use those results).
I have performed attribute MSA before,
but now I know WHY it works which will
help me "sell" it to others." |
Bruce Langford,
Quality Manager, Olex Cables, Australia
"The Measurement Systems Analysis
course suits managers and supervisors
who are dealing with measurement because
it is interactive and clear. It gives
much more value than 1 or 2 day seminar.
One of the greatest features of the
course is the ability to interface with
Glen on matters of difficulty and practical
application of the course material."

STUDENTS SAY |

| "The
Measurement Systems Analysis course changed
my thinking on measurement and experimentation.
I have done dozens of Designed Experiments
where a tremendous analysis of data was
done while the measurement systems were
not checked at all. Now I have much better
awareness of all aspects of measurement
and correction."
