COMMENTS
Margaret: This photo of a passing
cargo train was taken from a passenger train from
Vancouver to Toronto (could be somewhere in Saskatchewan!)
Looking at the settings the only way I could shorten
the time of exposure would be by increasing ISO
to maximum.
Q. Was there any other way
to get either foreground or background in focus?

COMMENTS
Margaret: The Shutter Priority
assignment got me motivated to try to shoot dripping
water. It was a challenge. I took many photos
in different settings and used continuous shooting
trying to capture the drop at the right moment.

Margaret: This was taken using
a different bowl. It gave an interesting orange-like
effect with reflections. This time I tried auto
focus. It was a hit-and-miss experience. |

COMMENTS
Margaret: Yet another dish. This
time a series of three consecutive drops.
Q. Did you ever try to photograph
dripping water? I started to think that an indoor
setup with a proper drip, lights, tripod and a
macro lens would give better results. Any advice
how to set it up? |

Q. Does
this idea work as a photo or is it just a bad

Margaret: Similar effect to the
above - long exposure, little light. And surprisingly
Portrait setting - probably it was too dark to
see the controls! Does it get the atmosphere? |

I have included this picture as an example of
